Genepool’s Creative Director, Sonya Pemberton will be giving the opening night keynote talk on Tuesday 11th April at the 2023 Public Communication of Science and Technology conference, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The PCST global network promotes new ideas and perspectives on the communication of science and technology, in all its forms. The theme of this years conference is creating common ground.
Sonya will share her experiences making science-focused documentaries for global television audiences. Drawn to complex subjects where there is division and polarisation, like climate change, vaccines and nuclear power, she will share five of her top #SciComm tips, things that can help communicate ‘across the divide’. Sonya will highlight their teams latest film "Carbon -The Unauthorised Biography" as a case study.
